01 / A CLEARER PICTURE

What "Without AI" Actually Means Here

Traditional sharpening adjusts contrast around existing edges using image-processing algorithms, rather than a learned image model. It can make mild softness less noticeable. This non-AI tool is planned and is not processing images yet.

02 / A CLEARER PICTURE

What It Fixes — and What It Can’t

Start with realistic expectations. An edge can look sharper without recovering all the detail that was lost.

01

Mild softness

Gentle sharpening can improve the definition of edges in a slightly soft photograph.

02

Heavy motion blur

Long trails and overlapping shapes generally need more than basic sharpening.

03

Missing detail

A sharpening filter cannot establish what unreadable letters or absent facial details originally looked like.

03 / A CLEARER PICTURE

How It Works in 3 Steps

The planned workflow keeps the adjustments simple.

01

Choose your image

Start with your original JPG, PNG or WebP. No registration is planned for the single-photo tool.

02

Adjust the sharpness

Use a gentle setting and inspect high-contrast edges for unwanted halos.

03

Compare and download

Check the image at its original size before saving. Processing and export will be available after launch.

GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.

FAQ

A few things to know before you begin.

Is non-AI sharpening the same as AI restoration?

No. Traditional sharpening changes edge contrast; a learned restoration model estimates a clearer image from patterns in its training data. Neither can guarantee that lost information is recovered accurately.

Can I use this tool now?

You can select and preview a photo. Traditional sharpening controls and result downloads are coming later.

Will sharpening fix completely unreadable text?

Not reliably. If the source no longer contains distinguishable letter shapes, increasing sharpness does not establish the original words.
